Chili Sauce

 

A sensuous chili sauce of organic Cayenne, New Mexico and Senise chili peppers roasted in oils of walnut, hazelnut, almond and pecan to create indulgent layers of taste. Unlike most chili sauces, we use no vinegar or preservatives. Our savory varieties are complex with a mix of nuts, garlic and tomato... our sweet flavors are romanced by cacao, dates, glazed nuts, cardamom and rose.

Pumpkin Ravioli with Kale and Praline Picante

Ingredients:

1 package Pumpkin Ravioli

1 tablespoon Cippolini onion, minced

8+  Lacinato kale leaves, chopped 

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped 

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

Shaved Manchego cheese to taste

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tablespoon Praline Picante or your favorite Dark Heart Chili Sauce

Boil your ravioli as directed on the package. Saute onion until soft, add the kale and cook until desired softness. Combine olive oil, vinegar and honey to drizzle over the dish. Top with parsley, cheese, salt & pepper.. and of course Praline Picante!

Crispy Topped Poached Eggs with Purgatoire des Amandes

Ingredients:

2 eggs

2 slices bread... brioche is yum :)

2 tablespoon butter

4 tablespoons grated Aged Gouda or your favorite

Salt & pepper to taste

2 tablespoon Purgatoire des Amandes or to taste.. or try other savory Dark Heart flavors!

Poach your eggs to desired firmness (5 - 7 mins) then add each one to a ceramic ramekin. Toast your favorite bread until crispy and golden brown, then crumble on top of the eggs. Layer on butter, cheese, salt and pepper. Place ramekins in toaster oven and BROIL about 3 minutes or until cheese lightly browns.

Finally add Purgatoire des Amandes or your choice of savory Dark Heart Chili Sauce!

Brussel Sprout Salad with Libre

Ingredients:

Dressing:

1 tsp champagne vinegar

2 tbsp lemon juice

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey

¼ tsp salt

3 tbsp Libre or more to taste.. other Dark Heart flavors are great too!

Salad:

12 oz Brussel sprouts, shredded

½ cup roasted and chopped almonds

½ cup grana padano cheese, grated

¼ cup salami, chopped

¼ cup parsley, chopped

½ cup small red grapes

Black pepper to taste

4 Servings

 

Libre, with roasted hazelnuts and mild, sweet Senise peppers can be eaten by the spoonful if you like.. but feel free to put it on this delicious salad :)

Mix dressing ingredients in a small bowl and the salad ingredients in a large bowl, toss the dressing into the salad and enjoy!
