Crispy Topped Poached Eggs with Purgatoire des Amandes
2 slices bread... brioche is yum :)
2 tablespoon butter
4 tablespoons grated Aged Gouda or your favorite
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoon Purgatoire des Amandes or to taste.. or try other savory Dark Heart flavors!
Poach your eggs to desired firmness (5 - 7 mins) then add each one to a ceramic ramekin. Toast your favorite bread until crispy and golden brown, then crumble on top of the eggs. Layer on butter, cheese, salt and pepper. Place ramekins in toaster oven and BROIL about 3 minutes or until cheese lightly browns.
Finally add Purgatoire des Amandes or your choice of savory Dark Heart Chili Sauce!
